Trump: "We’re not going into Syria"

Trump puts Syria War Fears to Rest

President Trump seems to have put to rest fears that he was considering escalating the war in Syria. “We’re not going into Syria,” he said in an exclusive interview. “Our policy is the same — it hasn’t changed. We’re not going into Syria.”

As an Iraq war veteran, I would like to thank the President for his wise decision. When Hillary Clinton, John McCain, Lindsey Graham and the mainstream media are all saying you are doing the right thing, you clearly are not. Syria represented a perfect opportunity for the Deep State to get the Trump administration mired in its own Iraq 2.0. Thankfully, the President seems to have sensed the danger and is throttling back on the rhetoric.

Many are cheering Trump’s daring missile raid a few days ago. I am not among them. I believe it was a dangerously impulsive move that gives the Russians and the Chinese even more incentive to build up their armed forces. Can you imagine if the American President was dining with the Chinese leader when he casually mentions that China has attacked a foreign nation? Trump would order our military to get ready to deal with this unpredictable Chinese leader. What makes us think the Chinese will react differently?

However, Trump does seem to have a method to his madness. With the situation heating up with North Korea, a Chinese party newspaper threatened North Korea with a possible attack from the PRC if they continue to undermine China’s security. Also, they are refusing North Korean coal imports. This effectively neutralizes their abysmal economy. It appears that China may have reached the limit of its patients with its naughty client state.

I feel this change in Chinese foreign policy has more to do with their need to keep a trade agreement with the United States that remains beneficial to them. It would be good for China to have the United States bogged down in the middle east for another decade. So, I do not put much stock in the opinion that the airstrike somehow scared China into doing our bidding. I think this conclusion is simplistic and does not consider the Chinese culture.

The real effect of the Syrian airstrike will be on our relationship with Russia. I remember the Cold War. I remember what a massive waste it was on blood and treasure. While America and the Soviet Union never came to blows, both powers lost thousands of lives fighting useless proxy wars. It seems to me that the Democrats and the Deep State would love nothing more than to see a state of war break out between the U.S. and Russia. This begs the question: Why?

I cannot see one positive outcome from a war between our two nations. And why must it come to that? So we can produce more profits for the military industrial complex? Except for vague allegations of hacking, what has Russia done to us that necessitates a bloody war? George Soros hates Russia. That’s enough for me to give them a second look.

Don’t get me wrong. I do not think Putin has our best interests at heart. But, I don’t see him as a dangerous, unstable problem, like Kim Jong-Un. Our two nations could achieve so much together. We could break the globalist stranglehold on the world. Maybe that is why the Deep State and their Mainstream media minions constantly tell us we need to hate Russia. It seems apparent to me, that war would only favor the globalists. For the rest of us, it would be a living hell.

I wish the President would not have fired missiles into Syria, but I still support him. If you truly think for yourself, you are never going to agree with everyone, all the time. It just isn’t possible. I am not a blind, mindless ‘Trump bot’. If I feel he is doing wrong, I will call it out. However, not invading Syria IS the right call.
