Top Three Avoidable Deaths *Must Read*

Are we ourselves becoming the number one source of our own death?

There are many dangerous things that creep along every crevice of this world. I think we are all fully aware that the world as we know it is slowly falling apart. It's a huge regression that people love to speak on but don't actually work to fix. For centuries this word has been slowly crumbling and becoming the number one source of our problems. How?

Well, I don't know about you but I am certainly not sure how to maintain a positive attitude toward the world as a creation we have come to demolish. I'm not entirely sure how we expect to inhabit a world that is slowly but surely falling apart. I don't have the money to live on the moon. Do you?

The downfall of this world has an abundance of layers. There are pools of peril this world has to face. However, today we are going to be talking about a few things that are wiping out our population.

Sure, there are still over seven billion people in this world as we speak, but some of the deaths we have witnessed are purely avoidable. Avoidable deaths are everywhere, but sometimes we are so caught up in the life that we live that our red flags could be waved inches from our eyes, and we'd stay a smiling, color-blind mess.

Today, I am only going to hone in on America, because that is where I am born and raised. Later down the line, there will for sure be an article full of wordly issues, my opinions on certain topics, and of course a longer more diverse list of avoidable deaths.

Read carefully as I dive into three of the most avoidable deaths.

STIs

There are a plethora of STIs that scour the land of the brave. These are, for the most part, preventable in terms of protection and how we handle our bodies. What I really want to focus on with this one is stressing the importance of protecting ourselves from these vicious infections. As harsh as this may sound we live in a world where it is hard to trust those who surround you.

There just so happen to be many STIs that are curable, but with that being said, there are scary ones that aren't. These STIs that may result in fatality include but are not limited to:

  • HIV
  • Hepatitis B
  • HPV

The reason I say that the fatality is not limited to these three terribly diseases is because any infection can kill you. Hell, people have died from the common cold. It's a sad truth, but it's true none the less.

Curable STIs that go untreated can turn into things like cancer, infertility, and may other awful things. These STIs Include but are not limited to:

  • Chlamydia
  • Gonorrhea
  • Syphilis

The only way to prevent these things from happening is to regularly get tested and make protection a priority in you sex life. It's 1010 percent not worth the risk.

Death By Nicotine

As a former smoker, I know first hand the very negative affects that smoking can have on your body. Some people begin smoking to alleviate anxiety, take control of their emotions, utilizing it as a coping skill, and some people just start because they think that it's the cool thing to do. Regardless of the reason, smoking becomes damaging in drastic ways as soon as your first cigarette.

For many people, cigarettes don't become addictive at the first cigarette, however some do, or some are curious to smoke more. Either way cigarettes have some super damaging effects. Effects that can end fatally include but are not limited to:

  • Lung Cancer
  • Trachea Cancer
  • Bronchus Cancer
  • Coronary Disease
  • Heart Attack

As sad as it truly is, many people die from secondhand smoke illnesses as well. Secondhand smoke causes approximately 7,330 deaths from lung cancer and 33, 950 deaths from heart disease each year as researched by the American Lung Association in March of this year. None of these deaths hardly seem worth it. You should always think of the way smoking can affect everyone around you.

Suicide

I think we all know that this nation has gone too far keeping mental health as hush-hush as we do. There are real sicknesses, real traumas, and real triggers that lead people into this tunnel of darkness. The depth of mental health runs so deep in society, and yet nobody seems to give a shit enough to make a change.

In my personal opinion, this world, not limited to the Americas should have government-funded therapies and healthcare in general. There is such a stigma against depression and anxiety, but not a single thing is put in place to make it a globally corrected issue.

Close to 800,000 people will die by their own hands in the world each year. Meaning that someone very broken dies every 40 seconds. The lack of focus we have on mental health is extremely damaging. As people, we need to develop a game plan to assist with early detection of mental illness. Children have as much of a right to feel as adults. We all need to do our best to be kind, and to make changes to this world in terms of mental health.

Conclusion

These are three of the most avoidable deaths. People die every second, some old, some young, some extremely avoidable. Don't put yourself in a position to die, because at the end of the day, someone loves you. A few seconds of what feels like it'll solve the problem can mean the end far too soon.
