The Fix

Presidential Politics

The early days of the 2020 Presidential Campaign have all the earmarks of a repeat of 2016. The fix is already in against Senator Bernie Sanders. From mega-donors of the DNC, Wall Street financiers, and the DNC have all conspired to thwart a Sanders nomination. The main stream media, which are controlled by just a few major corporations have again spun misconceptions, and erroneous assessments of what those reforms of Senator Sanders would actually do to benefit the American public. The power of the press is unprecedented. They purposely sway public opinion. And, today in Presidential politics public opinion turns into votes.

When Senator Sanders spoke of voter rights, and expressed his concern he took on a very difficult position considering how many of our inherit rights have been stripped away to become privileges. As privileges there are always fees that have to be paid for the right of those privileges. But, when the Senator equally emphasized the right to vote to include all Americans incarcerated too many of us have been too willing to accept that people who commit crimes, and are incarcerated because of those crimes committed, automatically wave their inherit right to vote. What we have to understand is that inherit rights are basic rights guaranteed under the Bill of Rights, and the original Constitution. As such, inherit rights are fundamental to our democratic process. Although, throughout our history the political process has been filled with fraud, inconsistencies, and exclusion. The United States has seen where women and African Americans had to struggle to obtain their right to vote. The hypocrisy of our political process is well documented. The right to vote must be an inherit right for all Americans. We have to remember that when inherit rights are exclusionary or have been turned into privileges this is the underlying cause as to why our Democratic Republic is in grave danger.

Now, if we take this context of inherit rights and apply it to Medicare For All, or Universal Health Care, there is a direct connection to our basic inherit rights of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness as stipulated in the Bill Of Rights and our original Constitution. Medicare for All or Universal Health Care falls in line with Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. We have to realize that healthcare is an inherit right, and not a mere privilege with costs continually rising. Again, Senator Sanders has hit the nail on the head sort of speaking. These are just two of the major issues of our inherit rights that have to be addressed and implemented to preserve our fundamental inherit rights as Americans.

What is actually happening today is that those few major conglomerates that control all the media outlets, that includes local and national TV networks, every major newspaper and radio station; they dictate who and what they will cover. The end result is that the news is all engineered to benefit those few corporations, and not the general public at large. It is these major corporations that are responsible for swaying public opinion solely for their gain. So, when we say the fix is in against Senator Sanders, it is because the public is already being duped into accepting all the other candidates that are acceptable to those few conglomerates that control the main stream media, Wall Street, and the establishment of both political parties.

The difficult decisions that Senator Sanders makes is characteristic of a true leader. And, the sooner we realize what the mainstream media, and the establishment of both political parties are doing in trying to sabotage the legitimacy of Senator Sanders candidacy, the sooner the American public will be able to benefit from all that the Senator is trying to do. It is up to us, the American public to realize that our inherit rights have been eliminated and turned into privileges. And what the Senator is doing is trying to educate us in validating our basic inherit rights, such as the right to vote, and Medicare for all.
