Tories Accused of Piling Pressure on Broken System.
Universal Credit was the flagship benefits shakeup introduced by the then Department of Works and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith. In theory, the idea was a good idea. Replacing many benefits into one benefit. Claimants have to wait 5 weeks until they can access the first monthly payment. If they cannot wait they can ask for an advance payment. When their first payment comes through they have to pay it back.

In my opinion the Civil War did not occur when it did by accident. I believe that there is a reason it happened when it did because certain things had to be in place; in particular certain changes in the population were needed. Contrary to what many have been taught I believed that on its battlefields were left the remains of the United States.

Thursday, 1 June 2023 By: TB Obwoge The United States is one of the most hated countries in the world, most Americans probably don't believe this, don't know this or don't care. Still the number one country where millions of people have hopes of immigrating to, however this doesn't mean they love the country. Or even respect the country's politics, government or citizens.
IwriteMywrongsPublished 11 months ago in The SwampThe United States and its growing debt: Is its financial hegemony at risk?
The United States faces a growing debt that exceeds 100% of its Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Despite this, spending on health and weapons force the country to continue borrowing. Democrats and Republicans were negotiating to raise the debt ceiling yet again, raising the question of whether the United States is trapped in a debt spiral. "Do what you must, do all you can, break all the fucking rules, and go to hell with Superman..." --Bad Religion People believe that nihilism is a destructive, pointless philosophical toilet bowl, wherein people who "just don't give a fuck" just...don't give a fuck. Actually, it's quite liberating. Once you realize the futility of earthly endeavors, the relatively brief period in this world in which you have to live and shine and define yourself, and deceive yourself into believing that, ultimately, anything you do here will matter after they shuffle you under the earth--an inexorable eventuality for every man and woman walking the face of the planet -- liberates you, somehow. It frees you from the petty, self-deceptive boxes you're commanded to choose to live in (but not with too much choice, really; there is only an alternative between Acceptable "A" and equally Acceptable "B") by a society that will otherwise rubber-stamp you as one of the "bad people." But even the "good people" get shoveled under, brought down by the relentless march of time.
President's First Priority? Aliens from Outer Space
January 21st (Las Vegas, NV) – When last seen by the public, the brand-new President of the United States of America was boarding Air Force One to an unknown destination. In the hours beforehand, the President had disrupted the Inauguration Ceremony by ending the festivities and announcing ten new Executive Orders. While the world was still reeling from those massive shifts in internationalism, security, nuclear armaments, terrorism, and expansionism, the President set sights on the next most important thing...
