Same Sex Marriage

Living In a World Where Same Sex Marriage Isn't Always Welcome

We are living in a world where we have to worry about who is going to take our rights away, even though the First Amendment is to protect us from having our lives ran by someone who doesn't like our choice into whom we choose to marry.

We have to worry about how we are going to keep our family afloat with how we are going to be able to keep up in our own lives because now we have to worry about if we are able to be hired somewhere for work.

I shouldn't be judged on who I marry and who is wanting to keep my family apart. Love is between two people not just because society wants it between men and women. It's who is in love with who, we don't throw a tantrum of a man and woman getting married, it's still beautiful no matter who it is. We just happen to love the same sex and that is whom we have chosen to spend the rest of our lives with.

My wife and I have been married for seven years now and it's wonderful. We sometimes have the same type of problems like a man and a woman marriage. It's not really that much different. My wife and I always have discussions on what we will do if they turn it around out of our favor for same sex marriage. We both had the response as to what we would do and we both said regardless of what happens we will always be together no matter what. It's because we have that much love for one another we don't care what anyone else thinks.

So please think this through and just let all of the gays and lesbians live their lives. We are human beings just like you. Love is stronger than hate, it is much more powerful than you can imagine.

The fight between the LGBTQ and the non-LGBTQ has been long and drug out, it's a fight that we will not stop fighting for. When my wife and I of seven years got together our children were just thrilled and they accepted both of us being together and making our family whole.

Many countries have accepted this change that our world has let become open with people that love one another. This has been a struggle for the better part of our lives, this is what we have been born with and this is how it's going to be. We don't need counseling and we don't need other people telling us whom we should and shouldn't marry.

When President Trump made it to the White House he was all for the Gay community. Now in recent talks, he is trying to overturn pretty much everything that Obama has done for the LGBTQ community, this, in the long run, will hurt Trump knowing that this is becoming more and more accepted. Since Trump has made some decisions to what he wants to do with our LGBTQ communities his popularity has dropped 35% just this month alone.

If we could get a petition going to stop Trump from making this mistake and to get him to just leave our communities alone and let us make our own choices as to whom we want to be with it would be a lot easier on everyone. Trump needs to leave this alone and work on the more important things like the health care that isn't worth a crap.

With all of this in mind I do wish that who ever is reading my story and others out there like mine that you will think about how you want others to treat your marriage and whom you have fallen in love with and just let us be and let us live our lives the way we have lived them for years without all of the headaches of the government coming into our homes and telling who we can and can't marry.
