One Nation Under God

Dear Donald,

President Trump, sir, I’m not sure I can find the words to properly convey my thoughts and feelings towards you. But first, I want to say, thank you. Thank you for being the President that this country needs, and obviously the President that 62 million+ people wanted. For eight years under the Obama administration, I watched in sadness and horror as my country started deteriorating before my eyes. Racial divide became greater than it has been since before the 60s, women’s empowerment gave way to neo-feminists waging war on all things masculine, everyone became a victim for one reason or another, honesty and transparency became political correctness and being careful so as not to offend anyone. A nation that was once proud and thriving became the laughing-stock for the world to see. With great failure to enact even the smallest change for the good of the country, apology tours, race baiting, and teaching the nation that if you play the victim then you are entitled to reparations, Obama slowly led this country down the toilet. I couldn’t think of anything worse happening to the greatest country in the world... and then I learned that Hillary Clinton would be running for President in 2016.

As soon as I found out, I made up my mind that I would do everything in my power to make sure that woman never stepped another foot inside the White House. I would speak out publicly, challenge her supporters and make sure I took myself to the voting booths in November. I hadn’t forgotten what she’d done to our men in Benghazi, and I never would. I disliked her as Secretary of State, but I loathed her when it came to light the part she played in the deaths of those men.

When your run for the presidency was announced, I knew this country was in for an awakening, a great awakening. You couldn’t be bought, you loved this country, you wanted to see her prosper once again and I believed you were the right man for the job.

I still believe you are that man. You have accomplished so much in the almost two years you have been in office, and I am excited to see more changes for the country I love. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for doing what you can to rebuild what was once so badly broken.
