Dear Liberals:

So you say "Love is Love " and that you stand against racism, and you want equal rights for women, but you don't really mean it. Love is only love when it fits your definition. Racism is only wrong if you are the right color on the outside. Equal rights for women, but only if you are willing to drop your own morals and beliefs.

You see, I am a Conservative, White, Christian Woman. You see my skin color, my sex, my beliefs and political stance, and my faith, and you call me names. That's not Love.

I discuss what is considered Conservative viewpoints, though I am not a Republican. Without knowing me you call me names that I cannot bring myself to write. If you knew me, you would know that I am pro-life, but I respect your opinions. If you knew me, you would know that I believe in Biblical marriage, but if you choose to marry outside of the Biblical, I will not condemn you. If you knew me, you would know that I believe in the right to bear arm, but if you disagree, I respect your platform. You just see my Conservative label and attack me, and judge me. That's not love and equality.

I am White, so without knowing me, you call me racist. If you knew me, you would know that I also have some Native American Ancestors. If you knew me, you would know that I have ancestors that were born in Puerto Rico. If you knew me, you would know that I have African American Jewish family I have many Islander and Haitian friends. You just see my pale features and judge me. That's not love and equality.

I am a Christian, so without knowing me, you condemn me and question my faith. If you knew me, you would know first and foremost, that I love you any way, just as Jesus said. If you knew me, you would know that though I believe the Bible holds the word of God and His rules of living, and I want you to know them too. If you knew me, you would know, that I do not judge you, nor condemn you, if you are not a Christian, but I wish for you to come to Christ. If you knew me, you would see Jesus in my heart, and you would know that for me, there is no other way; and though it breaks my heart, I respect you disagree. You just see my religion and call me hateful names. That's not love and equality.

I am a woman, so without knowing me, if I stand against your gender ideals, you call me uneducated, and a misogynist. If you knew me, you would know that I am a hard working mother. If you knew me, you would know that I believe that woman should work hard for their promotions and that there is honor in that. If you knew me, you would know that I agree, that in some industries, women are treated unfairly, and it has happened to me. If you knew me, you would know that I believe that a woman's body, and all sexual and reproductive rights and decisions are up to her, and not the government or any man. If you knew me, you would know, that I believe that woman face horrible prejudice, when putting forth charges of harassment. If you knew me, you would know that I believe thatwomen have to contend with a lot of verbal abuse, just walking down the street, that men do not have to. If you knew me, you would know that I believe that women should show modesty, and abstain from unruliness, because we are the only ones that can truly teach our children how to respect themselves. If you knew me, you would know that, though I believe we were designed to be physically weaker than men, we are emotionally and intellectually stronger, and that there is no shame in standing on that strength. You just see that I am a woman, and I do not agree with you. That's not love and equality.

How can you stand on such platforms, and yet do the very opposite of what you say those platforms are supposed to be about? Why don't you take the time to get to know those you tear apart and see them for who they really are? Just a thought.

Sincerely yours,

An American
