The State will Decide

Every since the Scottish referendum in 2014, the SNP has been running amok with legislation. There are those in Scotland asking for the SNP to get on with the day job, without understanding that while the majority are constantly distracted with the constitutional question, the SNP Scottish government has been actively enabling the state.

By the day job they are referring to devolved matter that Scottish Government is in charge of, like education, health and policing, what they aren't seeing is how this all interlocks to enable the state and in conjunction with a few other policies and piece of legislation see personal liberty stripped from the individual and empowers the state over the people.

The Scottish Government has many powers at their disposal but have continued with a plan laid out by Tony Blair's New Labour to creates a government more powerful than people that it's meant to govern, in effect a police state.

Winding back to when the enabling state began in Scotland we find the source of these policies, the Carnegie UK Trust, its main objectives are stated in the image above. We also can't ignore that this is also partly directed from Westminster but in the end, it's actually UN directed policy and you can tell because the new buzz term of "Well Being" is the focus and now it's the state's job to be in charge of your happiness.

State approved happiness is the reason you are having your liberty stripped from you; you don't know what is good for you or your children so the state now must take charge of the happiness of the country and the people will follow a prescribed plan from birth to death.

It all starts at pregnancy, turning midwifes from helpers to mothers to knowing better than mothers and where the first seed to undermine the family begins and when a baby is born they get allocated a Baby Box because no mother every nested for her child the state must provide. At this point children also get their 1st state-appointed named person, that is there to insure children happiness up to the age 18 but can continue beyond if in further education or is required for their well being. Consideration at this point with all policies form Holyrood that voting age has been lowered for local & regional elections in Scotland to age 16.

Scottish government are now actively looking at, not just getting it right for every child (GIRFEC), they are wanting to get right for every adult (GIRFEA) and only yesterday they announced that an opt-out organ donation system will now be brought back to the Parliament again, so even in death the state is taking ownership of your body.

All these policies are designed to empower the state over the individual and you can see quite clearly from the top image, they aren't looking to empower the individual they are looking for enabling being the new normal.

The Scottish government can pretend that we can opt-out of all of this so our liberty is still intact but how does a baby know to opt-out if enabling is the new normal, they would automatically think growing up it is normal for the state to have this much power over the people.

While most are preoccupied with the constitutional question, we that are on the ball have had to actively fight for our human rights already when Scottish government sought to remove parental consent for all children by lowering data sharing to "Well Being" and like I have already said in another blog entry, well-being is not to be confused with Welfare.

After WWII European countries created the European Convention on Human Rights and due to the way the Nazi regime manipulated the children through the Nazi youth, saw the creation Article 8 which protects the autonomy of the family and individual from the state interference and look to insure not Government would every get hold of the children again.

Article 8 ECHR

Article 8-Right to respect for private and family life

1. Everyone has the right to respect for his private and family life, his home and his correspondence

2. There Shall be no interference by a public authority with the exercise of the this right except such as is in accordance with the law and is necessary in a democratic society in the interest of national security, public Safety or the economic well-being of the country, for the prevention of disorder or crime, for the protection of health or morals, or for the protection of the rights and freedoms of others.

The Scottish Government has already breached Article 8 of the ECHR via the Children of Scotland and it is disturbing that they are ignoring history and why we wrote Article 8 into ECHR. It is getting more disturbing by the day how much they're ignoring our human rights that are in law and constantly want to undermine the individual and empower the state, they are doing it under the guise that this is for our own good, which reminds me of the proverb:

The road to hell is paved with good intentions

This ain't no upwardly mobile freeway

Oh no, this is the road

Said this is the road

This is the road to hell
