The Little Boy Who Wasn't & the Ghost in the Machine
Preface: Most, if not all of us are familiar with the paranormal in one form or another. It's one of the few things in this world that are cut and dry: you either believe OR you don't. You've had an experience OR you haven't. I respect a skeptic, I honestly do. However, I believe skeptics exist due in part to the fact that they haven't been open to having the experience. Now, some of you are probably thinking, "But Reigny, how can you be open to something you don't believe in?" To that I would say, being open to something and believing it are two different things.

I Think I Need to Break up With My Best Friend
"She looks like a rat!", "Hey, EARS!", and "Check out Bucky-Beaver!" were only some of the remarks my elementary school classmates uttered (not so) behind the back of the new girl in class. We were nine years old around the time we met. A new girl moved to town, and wasn't as welcomed as she had hoped to be. Anyone with eyes could tell it bothered her, but she kept quiet, and continued to walk with her head down, pretending she didn't hear any of it. I felt bad for her. You see, I was the fat kid in school. I was reamed on a daily basis; I had heard it all. It was a pain recognizes pain sort of situation. So I decided to do what I wished someone would have done for me, and just walked next to her and said "hey."

My Journey Through Addiction
Addiction was a part of my life before I ever knew what it was. I had a rather large group of friends growing up. Some might even say we were the “popular” kids. Well, they were the popular kids, I somehow was welcomed into the clique. Per usual, one of the things that came along with that title were parties where experimental behavior was par for the teenage course. This “normal” started as early as 6th grade. Suffice it to say, the group I ran with was anything but “straight edge.”
