Why 'Incredibles 2' Wasn’t That Incredible
What makes a good sequel? Is it something different than what makes a good movie? If the job of a sequel is merely to succeed at the box office and give audiences a chance to pay beloved characters and fun settings a visit, then Incredibles 2 was a huge success. However, if the point of a sequel is to offer audiences a self-contained, interesting, worthwhile, entertaining, and well-crafted film that continues developing well-known character and adds dimension to a world the audience already knows, then Incredibles 2 failed.

Carole Radziwill Is Leaving 'Real Housewives of New York'
Carole Radziwill has announced that she is leaving Real Housewives of New York, and I am shocked. When Carole first joined the cast, I loved her. It was the summer of 2012, and the cast included returning wives Sonja, Ramona, LuAnn, and newcomers Carole, Heather, and Aviva. Carole represented a type of New Yorker we hadn’t seen on the show. She was downtown chic and had already lived a hell of a life. She was technically a Polish princess (take that, Countess), a widow, a writer, and a journalist.

Why Are Companies Getting Rid of Plastic Straws? The Answer Shocked Me
If you’re anything like me, from the time you wake up to the time you go to bed you’re sipping on coffee, tea, or red wine. Try as I might, no amount of Crest Whitestrips can keep up with my drinking habits, so I often turn to straws to prevent my teeth from getting stained. However, thanks to non-profits like Plastic Oceans and Lonely Whale, straws might become much harder to find. Why? Well, apparently many of the straws we use and toss every single day end up polluting our seas. According to Plastic Oceans’s website, 8 million tons of plastic end up in the oceans every year—and this number is growing.

Most Anticipated Story Lines of the 2018-2019 NBA Season
First Team: 1. The Dawn of the Warrior Dynasty Three chips in four years. That sure sounds like a dynasty, doesn’t it? This is the question the likes of Shannon Sharpe, Stephen A Smith, and Skip Bayless will be debating all season long. The Showtime Lakers won 5 championships in 9 tries between 1980 and 1991. Larry Bird led the Celtics to 3 championships on 5 attempts during the same era, and Bill Russell earned the team 11 rings between ’57 and ’69, losing in the finals only once. The Kobe and Shaq 3-peat spanning from 2000-2002 might be the most compelling reason to hold off on hailing this Warrior team a dynasty, but many will try.
