The Good Ole Boys Club: An Antiquated System That No Longer Belongs In America
A system that protects men who violate women has no place in society.
The Good ole boys club is a club where men like Roy Moore are protected and get away with despicable behavior. This club has been in America for centuries, it was created during an era where only men who look like Roy Moore had sole authority and was the only governing force in our nation. Furthermore, the good ole boys club has a negative connotation to it because men like Roy Moore, who violate women, are always protected and are never punished for the decorum. Roy Moore is the example of a serial predator and is part of the hypocrisy of white right-wingers who claim to “fight for the unborn”, but fail to protect the innocent that are living. In 2017, America is literally fighting over whether or not a child molester should be elected to the U.S. Senate, a position in which Roy Moore will have the ability to create and pass laws governing millions of people. This good ole boys club is responsible for the turmoil our nation is going through and the trauma it has caused to innocent people. The good ole boys club does not belong in our society and Roy Moore does not belong in the U.S. Senate.
“In 2017, America is literally fighting whether or not a child molester should be elected to the U.S. Senate, a position where Roy Moore will have the ability to create and pass laws governing millions of people.”
According to Merriam-Webster, the good ole boys is defined as a usually white Southerner who conforms to the values, culture, or behavior of his peers. Roy Moore and men who are part of the good old boys club are never held accountable or charged with the despicable behavior they conduct. He is one of the thousands of men who have violated young women and girls, continuing a cycle of disgusting behavior towards women. What is maddening about this is that Donald Trump, who is a violator of women, has said nothing about this issue. He has not gone on Twitter to rant about this issue or taken a side in the debate; however, after 10 grueling months of Donald Trump being president, we should not expect him to participate or to have anything to say about a serious issue. Recap: just last month, Donald Trump was arguing with black athletes stating “get these sons of bitches off the field.” What we need is to not have this son of a bitch Roy Moore elected to the U.S. Senate and what we need is to get rid of this good ole boys club, and with it the sons of bitches that are protected from being punished for their terrible behavior towards women.

Sidebar: Roy Moore was elected twice to the Alabama Supreme court and was removed twice because he did not follow the law of the federal government. Also, Roy Moore constantly uses religion as a reason for his actions and his decisions for not following the federal law when he was on the Alabama Supreme Court. What is interesting is that the good ole boys club and men like Roy Moore who are part of it use religion as a tool for their decisions and behaviors. Religion for the good ole boys club is a scapegoat in order for them to illogically justify their behavior and violation of women, which is what Roy Moore is doing. This is why the good ole boys club has to go, because it does not belong in America's society, and there is no reason why any man would violate and harm women.
